There is a song I've discovered since I've been back (actually I heard it while watching Food Inc. a few months ago as well), and I love it, especially the lyrics: "Home is whenever I'm with you."
And, while I definitely agree that home = Lewis and Sophie, it would be nice to find a place to be at home. After running recon on a bunch of places and visiting some open houses yesterday, we still haven't found "the one."
Here is a random sampling of what our weekend looked like (one super-scary one intentionally left out):

We have that same car seat!
Good luck.
You know what's funny? Living in Sweden now, that room with wall-to-wall carpet looks BIZARRE.

Both of those houses look so cute from the outside. What was wrong with them?

First one is too small. They sleep in the basement. No backyard. But it did have a chicken coop, which was a plus.
Second one is still in contention, though we don't love the neighborhood. It's not bad. Just not exactly where we want to be. We'd really love to be in walking distance of a Whole Foods or similar place and other stuff. Not willing to give up the dream just yet!
