Granit, Sweden's version of The Container Store (but better), is one of the shops I'll miss when we move back. I actually don't buy much there, but it's fun to drool over the stylie organization products. I was there on Saturday and picked up this cute flyer (plus a t-shirt). I especially like the story on page 2: Grandpa surprising grandma with a newly organized garage. Me thinks grandpa's gonna get lucky, but let's keep this blog PG-13.
in my dreams!

Awwww now this is my kinda store! I would love to spend hours in this place. The Swedes have the best ads.
When I first started dating my husband he lived in a big house with 5 guys. First time I went over there the place was a dump, to put it nicely. Then I went into my then BF room. I was shocked how clean it was in there. The bed was made, nothing on the floor, neatly organized and I could see all his dress shirt neatly pressed and hang in the closet. I remember thinking , "Now this guy is a keeper". Lucky for me he's as much of a neat freak as I am.

There is a container store right in downtown Portland (by the Whole Foods). I live near there...I know not the same :(!
